"New Technologies for New Russia." A roundtable organized by the American-Russian Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Participants included representatives from the Russian United Energy System, Gazprom, Russian Emergency Committee, Russian Federation Aviation Administration, Russian Federation Center for Space Programs, Forestry Committee, and the World Bank. Sponsored by Global Atmospherics. Held in Marriott Hotel, Moscow, Russia.

"Investing in Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan." Organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce Business Information Services Division (BISNIS), the American-Russian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the American-Eurasian Chamber of Commerce, and Chicago Kent School of Law. Roundtable hosted a panel discussion on new opportunities in Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan with special emphasis on facilities and programs to support the food processing industry. The program drew numerous representatives form Midwest area agricultural concerns and other businesses. Held in Chicago Kent School of Law.
